In The End
I find myself simply arrested by the power of this piece. I am
a young man, 20 years of age, and I wonder a lot whether girls
my age will ever reach the timelessness of Inger - a woman. Instinctually,
I look at this and say to myself this is someone I could love,
this is someone I could spend the rest of my days with and grow
old with - she seems to be trustworthy and honest. Inger is stable,
strong, and elegant - worthy of a man's love and respect. The
white of her dress embodies that magical sense of purity. And
some men just want this in the end when it's all said and done.
